Throughout history, different philosophical perspectives have addressed the issue of happiness in different ways and provided various methods on the personal transformation that is necessary for attaining a state of stable and lasting psychological well-being.
Join us for an interactive lecture where you will learn about the fascinating intersection between ancient philosophy and modern neuro-psychology and explore how to practically and successfully live a life of well-being and joy based on the art and science of happiness.
Alex is a dedicated and gifted psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience in teaching psychology and providing individual, family and couple therapy. Alex uses an integrative approach that incorporates Eastern and Western psychological and spiritual practices. Applying a humanistic, person-centered approach, he guides how to positively harness the psycho-dynamic energies we all possess in order to rediscover our innate holistic nature. Alex holds a BA in Psychology and an MSc in Counselor Education from Queens College, City University of New York. In addition, Alex is a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, providing cutting-edge trauma treatment.
